 SPECIAL NOTE:

 Rotary Golf Tournament

There are several options for sponsorship ranging from tee sign sponsor for $125 to Food Sponsor at $3,000.  However, there is a part of tournament fund raising that often gets overlooked as in the past it has been delegated to just one or two people....that part is the raffle and silent auction...and everyone can help!  There are tons of businesses who cannot afford even a tee sign BUT who are willing, if asked, to provide a $10-$15-$25 even $50 gift card, gift certificate, or donate a physical item from their inventory.  The golf committee suggests that each member think of at least three people/places they do business with - could be a bakery, hardware store, record store, restaurant, deli, convenience store, golf course, specialty store...whatever. Next time you are in the store,, ask the owner/manager if they would be willing to donate that gift certificate or physical item as a raffle prize at the annual Rotary Golf Tournament in September.  You will be amazed at how many folks would be willing to donate - and how quickly we will generate raffle or auction prizes that will make the tournament a success.  If you agree to participate - IMPORTANT keep track of who gave you what items and bring the items and list of donors to the next Rotary meeting.  The items can be given to Manny, Gary Young, John Mathieu, or Todd Postler - all members of the golf committee. Thanks for your help.
